This tool displays information inside 3ds max in real time. Feel free to suggest any additional options you would like to see in this tool. I’m open to expanding upon this tool and adding addition information to be displayed. It works as the user changes the scene as well.
Feel free to play around with it and let me know your thoughts.
I’ll be going into the code here soon and cleaning up the redundant stuff.

I’m new to scripting but I have ideas in my mind. For example, all the objects in a scene (box, cone, sphere, etc.) is determined volumes. (like the sphere 4/3 * pi r3) and objects of volumes can be calculated mass ratios, and perhaps more realistic effects can be turned into the script. Stay in touch with you. sorry about my english

Very useful script John, I’ve added some new functions I needed. I’m using it on my own as it’s your property. I also tried to correct an existing issue with the polycount when selecting TriMesh class as the camera target or other dummy in scene selection mode but it seems that whatever I does only take account of the SuperClass.. I’m novice by the way so I’m quite sure you’ll correct it soon… Keep making nice and useful script. If you’re interesting to make an interview I’m editor on It’s Art so feel free to contact me. Cheers
