Can I request tool features or fixes?

Feel free to ask us anything, we will do our best to respond and answer in a timely manner.
If a bug is reported, we will try to solve it if possible. Some bugs are out of our control.
If a feature or modification is requested we will take it into consideration for future updates. Sometimes this will depend on the benefit and complexity of the request.
Custom features can be requested and special versions of the tool can then be built for only you, that include that feature, but will include a cost.

How can I get updates to my purchases?

Log into your account here at JokerMartini you will have access to all the latest files and installers for the tools you bought. Including previous versions as well.

If you bought a product before we changed our website and lost your files, then you can email us and we will send them or assign them back to your account if you can provide purchase information.

How do I report a bug?

Send us an email using the Contact form and include which version of 3ds Max, the name of the tool that’s broken and details on how to reproduce the bug.

Please include in your email the following:

  • Copy of the error message and also what is written in the Maxscript listener (the pink box at the bottom left of 3dsmax).
  • If applicable, include a copy of the 3dsmax scene file that introduced the problem

Drag-n-drop mzp install for 3ds Max is not working

If you are experiencing problems and notice the tool is not installing when you drag-n-drop the mzp files into 3ds Max, here is an alternate way to install those plugins.

  1. Unzip the purchased file downloaded from JokerMartini.com. This file will have a file extension of .zip
  2. Once this file is unzipped, it will contain another file which has the file extension of .mzp. For those unfamiliar with this file format, a mzp file is the same as a zip file. Once the mzp file is located, simply unzip the file.
  3. Once the mzp is unzipped, you should see a few files. Take all the files which and place them into your 3ds Max > Scripts > Startup folder. Then restart 3ds max and you should be good to go 🙂

Optionally:

If you want, you can change the file extension from .mzp to .zip without causing any issues. It may make it easier for you to unzip the file. However in most cases you should not have to do this.
