Description
Faces Weighted Normals is a 3ds Max tool designed to automate the process of correctly assigning explicit normals to an editable poly object. Object times when modeling game assets artists are required to work within certain polygon limits. As a result the mesh can sometimes appear to have artifacting when shaded. This if often due to incorrect normals. Below is a screenshow demonstrating the issue as well as the solution using this tool.
