Description
Same Edge Length – 3ds Max Tool
Tired of manually adjusting edges one by one to get them the same size? **Same Edge Length** is a free modeling tool for 3ds Max that lets you normalize edge lengths across your mesh in a single click.

What It Does
Same Edge Length takes your selected edges on any Editable Poly object and makes them uniform. Choose between two modes:
– Average Mode – Automatically calculates the average length of your selected edges and resizes them all to match. No input needed, just select and click.
– Custom Length Mode – Specify an exact length and apply it to every selected edge. You can also sample a length from existing edges to use as your target value.
Edges scale symmetrically from their center point, keeping their original direction intact. Works across multiple selected objects at once.
Features
– Set all selected edges to a uniform length instantly
– Average mode requires zero setup – just select edges and go
– Sample edge lengths from your current selection
– Works across multiple Editable Poly objects simultaneously
– Fully undoable with a named undo entry
– Registers as a macroscript for easy toolbar, menu, and hotkey access
Requirements
– Autodesk 3ds Max (any version)
– Objects must be **Editable Poly**
